The minimum age requirement is 40 years old. Players must have turned the required age by 31/12/2026.

In the case of the women’s Senior category, two (2) exceptions are allowed for players aged over 35.

The average age of each team (all players registered on the roster) will be calculated, and teams will be ranked in ascending order based on this average.

For men’s teams, the 12 teams with the lowest average age will be placed in the Senior category. Using the same criterion, the 12 teams with the highest average age will be placed in the Legends category, with the remaining 12 teams assigned to the Elite category.

For women’s teams, following the same approach, the 12 teams with the lowest average age will be placed in the Senior category, and the remaining 6 teams in the Legends category.

This category structure is based on an assumed registration of 36 men’s teams and 18 women’s teams.

The registration fee is €200 per team and €30 per player. These fees cover team registration and our individual welcome package.

The pre-registration process will open during the month of September.

Teams who attended the previous edition will be granted a priority registration period before it officially opens.

Pre-registration only consists of expressing the intention to attend and does not guarantee a place until confirmation is received from the organization.

The welcome package includes:

• Commemorative Backpack.

• Commemorative tournament jersey.

• Medical insurance (mandatory to take part in the competition)

• Welcome Party at the Magdalena Palace.

• Traditional lunch on Saturday at midday (Mountain Stew).

• Online game statistics.

• On Friday evening, the City Council reception will take place at the Magdalena Palace.
• On Saturday evening, a charity dinner will be held at Hotel Hoyuela.

All reservations must be made by email directly with each hotel, using “SANTANDER MASTERS BASKET” as the subject line.

The number of rooms booked is limited, so we recommend contacting the hotels as soon as possible in order to secure these rates.

We would also like to clarify that the organization’s intention is to facilitate, as far as possible, the stay of tournament participants, and that no commission or financial benefit is received from the hotels for this arrangement.
